Universidad San Jorge — Odysea Design Day

Arte al cubo. A hands-on workshop on large-format painting through play.

Introducing university students to mural art through teamwork, characters and three-dimensional play.

Within the Odysea Design Day at the School of Architecture and Technology of Universidad San Jorge, Bozeta delivered Arte al cubo: a hands-on workshop introducing students to the techniques and language of large-format painting. The session combined a short theoretical introduction — on the history of mural art, its techniques and its presence in contemporary cities — with a practical part where teams designed characters around the theme of extraterrestrial life, painted them using acrylics, markers, sprays and stencils, and finally stacked them into three-dimensional totems that revealed the final composition.

A workshop that brought scale, colour and collaboration into the classroom.

The resulting totems were exhibited in the university hall, becoming a temporary intervention in the everyday life of the school. For Bozeta, the project is part of an ongoing line of educational work bringing professional design practice into university and school environments — testing how artistic methodologies travel into formal education, and what students can build when given the right tools and the right scale to work with.
