Ecolac. Repositioning a Spanish sports nutrition brand for a new generation of athletes.

Packaging, art direction and photography for a brand that runs as far as its product does.

Ecolac is a Spanish sports nutrition brand built on three values that we used as the spine of every decision: strength, elegance and transparency. The studio took on a long-term collaboration that included packaging redesign, art direction and a full photography campaign shot in the Spanish Pyrenees — one of the most evocative natural environments in the country. The challenge was to position Ecolac next to international competitors while keeping a distinctly local identity, with imagery that connected the brand to the real landscapes where its users train, race and rest.

An identity shaped at altitude.

The photography campaign was shot under unpredictable weather conditions — rain, clouds, brief windows of sun — which ended up giving the imagery an authentic quality that no studio set could have produced. The resulting visual system informed the new packaging line and the brand’s communications across digital and physical channels. For Bozeta, Ecolac was an exercise in building a long-form visual identity that lives across formats, and in directing photography that does the work of branding without leaning on it explicitly.
